First I found a partner, I found Bethany, then we got the anywords slide so we could play on it.

Then we wrote our first words, Bethany wrote dragons then I wrote gate from the G.

Lastly Bethany won 19 I won 17, we made some mistakes by spelling diring and ontop.

I liked playing anywords and I think I’m a little good at it, but I think I need to get better at the game by playing more and stop making spelling mistakes.

Inferring

This week I revised Inferring.

First my team and I had to do cloze,SSR selfie, and fact find.

Then we had a lesson with Miss White, she told us more about inferring.

Next we had to do a task which was inferring a story named  “The kakangora” we had to Infer it on a template.

Lastly I had to do a task called “key into Inference”

I liked this task because I learnt more about inferring and I think I need to get better at helping my team, but I think I’m good at Inferring.

Synthesising

This week i learnt more about synthesising, synthesising is when you use new information to create a new thought, idea, opinion or perspective.

First me and my group had to do cloze, steps, fact find then SSR selfie.

Then Miss White gave me and my group a lesson on what we are going to synthesising, we had to synthesise Emperor Penguin.

Next we had to put the information we know in the template and then the information we learnt in the template.

Lastly i made a DLO about how to synthesise and what synthesising is.

I liked synthesising, and I think im good at synthesising, but I think I need to get better at sharing my ideas.

synthesising

I have learned about synthesising, synthesising is when you get new information, new ideas to create a new thought, idea,or an opinion.

First me and my team had to do SSR selfie,Fact find and cloze.

Then we had a lesson with Ms White, I learnt that when I’m synthesising I get one piece of information I know and one piece of information I have learnt then making it into a sentence, for example if you are talking about kiwis you say what you already know about kiwis and what you have learnt about them then making it into a sentence that can give more information about kiwis to the reader.

Lastly I had to make a DLO explaining what synthesising is.

I liked this task because I learnt more about synthesising, but I think I need to get better at finding new information, but I think I’m good at giving information I already know.

To think about two sides of an issue

This week I learnt about how to think about two sides of an issue.

First Me and my group had to do SSR selfie, then we had to cloze, then lastly fact find.

Next we had to read a book about animal testing and state our opinions on it in teams, we had to have 4 reasons why we dont think we should test animals and 4 reasons we do think we should test animals.

Lastly I had to make my own opinion on animal testing on a slide.

I liked this task because I learnt more about how to think about two sides of an issue, but I think I need to get better at thinking about the issue, but I think I think I’m good at stating my opinion.

Summarising, keywords

This week I learnt about summarising and how to summarise.

First Miss White gave us an example of summarising by telling us a story then summarising it, the story was called “shut your mouth”.

Next I had to watch a short movie and summarise it. Me and my partner had to complete a Template where we had to put 20 keywords then find the 6 most important keywords and make sentences using the keywords.

Lastly, I made a DLO explaining what summarising and keywords are.

I enjoyed this task because I learn more about summarising and keyworks, but I think I need to improve on finding keywords.

SSR selfie

I readed 10-11 pages from the book ARGENTA.

This book is about the bird people, and one young birdboy who went on a misson to save earth.

I liked this book because it talks alot about bird people and there planet.

Inference

Inference.

Inference is guessing extra information from a photo or text.

Inference can unlock keywords from a scentence, it can also be used in “I can see so I can infer”. For example, the lady had a raincaot on what weather do you think it was? I can see that is says raincaot so I can infer that it is raining.

Inference can be used in text,photo/paragrapho, if you use “I can see, so I can infer”.

Inference

This week I learnt about Inference and made a poster about it.

Inference is when you give a conclusion or an opinion from a text.

First I had to look at a book called “honey makers” Then I looked at the first two photos and inferred about them.

Then I made a poster about what inference is and what it means.

Obseruable,Literal

Observable information is something that can be seen directly. Literal information is information that is printed or written.

Observable is also when you noticed something for example if you see a picture you can say what you swore in it,for example :  I wrote what I swore in the picture.

Literal information is also when you can understand what’s happening, for example you can understand what’s happening in the text or photo.
