Car timeline

Car timeline.

Cars are vehicle what move on wheels, and can fit alto of people in it, it can fit from about 4-6 people, it matters what car it is, The first gas car was called “The Benz patent Motorwagen”.

First royal car was called the “6 hp Daimler” it was made in the 1900 by Carl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler.

In 1959 the first seat belt was made it was to keep more safe.

There are a lot of events in history.

Rail transport

I learnt more about rail transport and what a stakeholder is.

First I learnt about transport that uses rail, I learnt that there are train roller coaster locomotives and more.

Then I learnt what a stakeholder is. A stakeholder is a person that make an technology, then sells it to people so they can get money or it is a person that get a bit of money for a product they have made.

Lastly I had to find 10 facts about trains, then put it on a DLO with what a stakeholder is.

Pros and cons

For inquiry I did pros and cons.

First Miss white told us what pros means, pro means good things about the object, or advantages.Cons means bad things about the object or somthing they can improv on, for example for pros on jet ski I said “Its fast” and for the con”It costs a lot of money”

I then had to do a task where I put 2 pics of a jet ski and a ship and attribute them, then say some pros and cons of the two.

 

Air transport timeline

I learned about air transport and made a timeline about it.

First I made a DLO with a timeline on it, I then found imformation about the history of Air transport and looked for the dates.

Next when I found the dates I put the information with the dates on my timeline, for example If I looked up first hot air balloon fight and found the date and the information then I will add it all to the timeline in the right year and in order.

Lastly I added pictures and more information.

I liked this task and I think I was good at it, but I think I need to get better ad explaining the date.

Modes of Transport

This week I learned about transport and the modes of transport.

First I learnt the 4 modes what are rail, land , air and sea, I also had to get into a group of 4 with a paper and had to write down the 4 modes ,I then had to find vehicles that is used with the modes for example for air there was hot air balloon, jet or plane.

Next I learnt the mode of transport that uses the 4 modes. For example planes are used in the sky so the mode is air or boats are used in the water so the mode is sea.

Lastly I had to do a task where I had 4 slides with the 4 modes on it, I had to put pictures on each and attributed them I then I had to explain them for example for land I had pictures of cars since its used on land, I then explained cars for example I said “car have four wheels, cars run from gas”and more.

I liked this task because I learnt more about modes of transport and I think I’m good at it, but I think I need to get better at getting the images and attributing them.

Skits

I’ve been working on a skit with my team.

First we made a brainstorm on a piece of paper with a lot of messages. For example there were hard work always pays off,the truth always comes back to you and more like you deserve someone who knows you are important to lose.

Then we had to pick one message from our brainstorm we picked “hard work always plays off” we then had to name the actors, get a problem and a solution.Our problem was that the kids weren’t doing work and going to parties,then the solution was that they do their work and stop partying.

Lastly, me and my team made a skit.

I enjoyed this task and I think I’m good at making skits,but I think I need to get better at making the actors names.

story types

Stories have 4 types what are Myth,Legend,Fairy Tale and Fable.

Myths are stories that can explain natural phenomena for example Maui and the sun is a myth since it talks about the slow sun.

Legends are stories that talk about a person or an event, for example The Legend of the Beast Nian – Origins of Chinese New Year is a legend since it talks about the beast of nian.

Fairy tails are stories that talk about a magical animal,creature, for example the tooth fairy because its a magical animal,creature

Fables are stories that teach lessons for example the wolf and the crane because it tells not to trust people.

There are many story types, and all of them do different things or tell different things.

where Cultural stories are from

This week I had to find where cultural stories are from and had to summarise them.

First I had to read a story of choice, I then had to summarise the story in a template.

Then I had to find where it is from and placed it on a google map.

Lastly I had to add the summary and add an image or video of the story on the google map.

I liked this task because I got to learn more about cultural stories, but I think I need to get better at reading the stories faster, but I think Im good at finding where the stories are from.

Cultural stories

This week I have been learning about cultural stories.

First I had to watch a story based on an immortal snake who saved their husband who died of shock when he found out who his wife actually was.

Then I had to read a book of choice and I picked a book named  “The Wolf & the Cranes” Which was about a wolf who got a bone stuck in his throat, so he got a crane to help him and said he would give a gift if the crane did. when the crane pulled out the bone and asked for the gift, the wolf said the gift was that he didn’t eat the crane’s head.

Lastly I made a venn diagram and wrote the similarity and the differences from the two stories.

I liked this task because I learnt more about cultural stories, and I think I did good on finding the similarity, but I think I need to get better at telling the differences in both stories.

Bees

This week me and my team made a slide about bees.

First we had to tell eachother information about bees that we didn’t know that we learnt from teachers, Then we had to make a slide deck about bees and check if the information was right.

Next we had to write a bee script to pactice what we had to say.

Lastly we made the audios and finished.

I think I did well at helping my team, but I think I need to improve telling more information, but I enjoyed making the slide.
