This week I did statistics.
First I got information from my tallys, for example I got the information of who can ride a bike and how many people live in your house.
Then when I get all the information I wrote it in my book for example i wrote “I can see feb has 2 people born in it” or “I can see 2o can ride a bike”.
I liked this task because Iiked learning about statistic and I think I’m good at making the tallys, but I think I need to improve on drawing graphs.
I read 34 pages of the brilliant work of Tom Gates.
Its about a boy who its late to school but lives 4 minutes aways, he is always late because he talks with his friend most of the time,later that day when he came to school he got told by his teacher they are going to be arranging seats and he had to sit by Marcus who is very annoying.
I liked this task because I like fictions books.
Today we played T-ball. First we played a trial game. We got into 2 teams and our team was fielding first. If you are the fielder, you have to try to catch the ball and put it on the T. If you are the batsman you have to try and hit the ball as far as you can and run back and fourth.
Then we played a real game of T-ball. the teams were the same but if you are batting you have to try to run home covering the three bases. We were batting first. After three team members of our team were out, we swapped and started fielding.
I liked playing T-ball and I think I’m good at fielding, but I think I need to get better at batting.
done my basic fact boxes in 7 minutes and 1 seconds.
First I made a copy of the basic fact boxes and put on a timer.
Then I answered them, I got 100 out of 100.
I think I did well on my basic fact boxes and I think I’m good at finding them out, but I think I need to impover on how fast I go
I done my commanding conversation.
First I got picure of a group talking.
Then I wrote what I thouth they were talking about.
I liked this task because I like commanding conversation and I think I’m good at Commanding Conversation, but I think I need to get better at thinking about the picuter.
I’ve been working on a skit with my team.
First we made a brainstorm on a piece of paper with a lot of messages. For example there were hard work always pays off,the truth always comes back to you and more like you deserve someone who knows you are important to lose.
Then we had to pick one message from our brainstorm we picked “hard work always plays off” we then had to name the actors, get a problem and a solution.Our problem was that the kids weren’t doing work and going to parties,then the solution was that they do their work and stop partying.
Lastly, me and my team made a skit.
I enjoyed this task and I think I’m good at making skits,but I think I need to get better at making the actors names.
I learnt my Statistics.
First the class had to make their own tally, we had to answer 4 questions.
Then my team and I had to do fractions.
Next Miss white gave us a lesson about Statistics, she told us more about statistics.she then told us to do a task where we had to draw a tally in our books.
Lastly, I finished the task.
I liked this task and I think I’m good at making tally’s, but I think I need to improve on nothing.
This week I revised Inferring.
First my team and I had to do cloze,SSR selfie, and fact find.
Then we had a lesson with Miss White, she told us more about inferring.
Next we had to do a task which was inferring a story named “The kakangora” we had to Infer it on a template.
Lastly I had to do a task called “key into Inference”
I liked this task because I learnt more about inferring and I think I need to get better at helping my team,but I think I’m good at Inferring.
Poetry types.
There are many poetry types and we leant 4 what are diamante,Cinquain,Haiku,Limerick.
Diamante is a poetry type that talks about anything, has 7 lines and is shaped like a diamond.
Cinquain is a poetry type that talks about anything and has 5 lines.The story description is topic, description, action, feeling, conclusion.
Haiku is a poetry type that usually talks about a moment in time,and has 3 lines.
Limerick is a poetry type that usually talks about a joke, and has 5 lines.
I read 25 minutes of Frozen ll.
Its about how arendelle was endangered and Anna and Elsa had to try and save it.
I enjoyed this book because I like Elsa.
