I read a fiction book about Olivia’s life at school.
Its about a girl named olivia who wants to win the top prize from her school, but there is a new girl in school who does not like her videos.
I enjoyed this task because i like what the book is about.
This week I have been learning about patterns, I also learnt about how to use patterns in maths.
First I learnt about patterns. For example I learnt that you have to find the things that make the patterns, like if there was a star circle and Square then back to a star I know that star circle and Square is the pattern.
I then learnt that patterns are things that repeat themselves over and over again.
Lastly, I had to make a slide with patterns made of things, I had to make five what was a shape, colours, object, letter and a number.
This week me and my team made a slide about bees.
First we had to tell eachother information about bees that we didn’t know that we learnt from teachers, Then we had to make a slide deck about bees and check if the information was right.
Next we had to write a bee script to pactice what we had to say.
Lastly we made the audios and finished.
I think I did well at helping my team, but I think I need to improve telling more information, but I enjoyed making the slide.
I created a digital whale tail and a non whale tail.
First I made a digital whale tail. I drew mine about the food that the whales eat so I drew fish, then I colour it in blue, and drew the holes that help whales breathe, I made it like that because it can also teach people about whales.
Then when I made my non digital, I drew fish and coloured them in grey,yellow and orange, then I drew two waves to represent what whales swim in.
Lastly I made the background blue because it shows what colour most whales are.
I enjoyed this task because it helped me get better at coloring, but I need too improve blending it in.
Today we did AFL skills.
First we revised how we have to hold the ball, for example you have to hold the ball with your ring finger on the third lace on the ball. We learned how to catch and throw the ball.
Then we played a game on piggy in the middle with 3 of our parents, there had to be one person in the middle that had to catch the ball, if they did the person that threw the ball had to be the new piggy in the middle.
Lastly we played a game of piggy in the middle with everyone.
I readed 10-11 pages from the book ARGENTA.
This book is about the bird people, and one young birdboy who went on a misson to save earth.
I liked this book because it talks alot about bird people and there planet.
This week I leant how to catch and pass a ball.
First we played octopus but if you became seaweed you can’t come out or be let free.
Then Miss White showed us an example of how to pass a ball. She showed us that we had to put our non-dominant foot in front, and our dominant in the back. She also told us to make your hands into a W shape when passing the ball.
Lastly we played a game where we made 2 teams and we had one person in the middle catching and passing the ball to each other, we had to do that 20 times but if we drop it we had to try agin, and we had to be the first team sitting down, my team lost.

Inference.
Inference is guessing extra information from a photo or text.
Inference can unlock keywords from a scentence, it can also be used in “I can see so I can infer”. For example, the lady had a raincaot on what weather do you think it was? I can see that is says raincaot so I can infer that it is raining.
Inference can be used in text,photo/paragrapho, if you use “I can see, so I can infer”.
This week I learnt about inference. Inference is when you give a conclusion or an opinion that is formed because of knowledge or facts of evidence in a text or photos.
First we learnt about inference by looking at photos and used extra information from the photo, then we got into a team of 3 and shared our ideas, for example we saw a lady holding a tissus and inference she was sick.
Then I had to get my library book and take photos of pictures from the book and write down what I could see and what I infered.
Lastly I made a poster explaining what inference is and an example about it, here is the poster:
This week I learnt about Mass.
I learnt about mass by taking grams and kilograms and converting it, convert means mean to change for example if the there is 5432 grams is can be convert to 5.432kg,I only convert grams into to kilograms and kilograms into grams, the difference between grams and kilograms is that kilograms has thousand of grams, so to make a kilogram you need thousand of grams.
Lastly I made a poster about converting grams and kilograms.
